The first Stockholm Burlesque Festival was born in 2010, initiated by some of Sweden’s burlesque pioneers: Duchess Dubois and her award winning troupe The Amazing Knicker Kittens. Superstars like World Famous *BOB*, Indigo Blue and Trixie Little and Evil Hate Monkey came to Stockholm’s beautiful, historical venue, Berns.
After a one year break in 2011 the producer duo Fräulein Frauke and John Paul Bichard were invited to join the organizer team for its come-back in 2012: with a gorgeous event headlined by Finnish burlesque queen Loulou D´Vil, neo star Fancy Chance, the fabulous Luna Rosa and award winning Laurie Hagen. A fantastic line-up of burlesque, boylesque, polesque and cabaret with performers from 11 countries and three continents joining us for a four day extravaganza!
