BOOST YOUR BURLESQUE
Workshop with headliner Vicomte Harbourg

Burlesque is a multi-disciplinar art, a zone of freedom, which can be as exciting as it is intimidating for a creator: beyond styles and disciplines, which parameters can I always play with while creating an act?
This 2 hour workshop aims at provinding a toolbox to optimize an act’s impact on the audience. It comprises a series of exercices focused on several key aspects of performing, such as: 

• Character definition
• Exposition scene 
• Character embodiment and story telling
• Lipsync
• Contrasts and rythm within the act
• Projection and communication with the audience
• Efficient use of stereotypes

The workshop ends with a final application choreographic exercise.
The workshop is suitable for all levels and genders. Come with clothes in which you can move comfortably, final choreography often involves a bit of chair dance.

Bring water bottle and heels if you are usually wearing them.
